6th Grade Polo Shirts
All sixth grade polo shirts have been ordered. They will arrive probably within the next 3 weeks and be promptly distributed to those who paid the $25 fee. Again, these are to be worn in SIXTH GRADE ONLY and are not the uniform for seventh/eighth grade orchestra/chorus. I strongly encourage students to wear the polos to school frequently to show their spirit for the Daniell performing arts programs.
Cookie Dough Fundraiser Delivery
We are still waiting on an exact date, however we know that delivery will occur either the last week of October or the first week of November. I assure everyone that as soon as I have a firm date, I will share via this website and remind.
Charms Playing Tests
This week the graded playing tests to be submitted online are:
Eighth Grade: #11 Cossack Lullaby from green sound innovations book
Seventh Grade: #54 March from Scipio from red sound innovations book
Sixth Grade: #36 Dayenu from blue sound innovations book
8th Grade Sprayberry Field Trip
On November 14th, the eighth grade orchestra students will have the opportunity to travel to SHS for the day. They will get to tour SHS, rehearse with the high schoolers and perform/mingle with other orchestra members from Simpson MS all while getting to know their future orchestra teacher, Mr. Cook. Details for this field trip will go home with students tomorrow (Friday) via handout. Please return the signed permission form asap to secure your child’s attendance. There is NO COST for this trip as it is paid for by the SHS orchestra booster club.
