7th & 8th Grade Concert Oct.2

2019 Fall Concert Letter was given out on pink paper on Friday before break.  If you didn’t get your copy, please click the link above for all of the concert information that you need!

If you are a sixth grader, this is not required for you to attend.  However, if you’d like to attend and show your support for the older orchestra students, it can be a great motivator for practicing!  🙂

The 7th and 8th grade uniforms have all been distributed. Please remember that your uniform does need to be hemmed, so it will seem very long. A good rule of thumb to follow is 1 1/2″ from the ground with your concert shoes on.

**Now that our conversion to the Jackets from the Dolphins is completed, we will NOT be changing the uniform again. 7th graders who have purchased the uniform can continue to wear it all the way through into high school (if attending sprayberry).

Sixth grade polos are different from the 7/8 uniforms. The polos are still being ordered and $25 is due via my payments plus or cash/check as soon as possible. Polo shirts are used for concerts, events and will be worn for performing arts “spirit days” throughout the school year. We encourage students to wear them as often as they’d like, not just for concerts. If you are in chorus AND orchestra, you only need to order ONE shirt.

Cookie Dough Fundraiser

The cookie dough fundraiser order has been placed.  We will send out a remind message as well as a blog post here as soon as the delivery date is confirmed.

Playing Tests – IMPORTANT

Every single week, your child will have a playing test unless told otherwise so that I can identify and assist any student who may be struggling. Use or the charms blue device app.

If you have not looked at or see that your child has missed one or more tests, please see this handout for instructions: Charms Instructions 2019
