Sixth and Seventh Grade TEST DRIVE!!!
Come out and try all of the instruments in band and orchestra as well as meet the chorus teacher on Wednesday from 5-7 or on Saturday from 10-1pm. You can try however many instruments you would like to help make your decision about which class is the best fit for you! Please let Mrs. Newton know if you have any questions.
Current Orchestra Students
Firstly, please make sure to subscribe to the blog, even if you did last year as our subscriber list is wiped clean every year. You will get all of our blog posts as emails.
Syllabus/handbook will go out on Tuesday! Please make sure to look for this in your child’s belongings as the final page needs to be filled out and signed.
Students do not need their instruments in class until Tuesday Aug 10. I want to give ample time for all students to get the materials that they need without rushing. Please let me know if you have any questions at all about supplies and I’m happy to assist.
Smart music will only be used for 1st, 2nd and 5th periods this year and mostly during class on class laptops. If you are in one of these classes, please make sure your smart music account is registered and up to date. See the smart music handout for details.
