Hello Daniell Orchestra Families!
I’m so excited about everything we have planned for this school year. I’d like to share some important info regarding start of the year details:
- All students will receive their supply lists on Friday, August 3rd in class. Please ensure that the method book is in class with your student as soon as possible to maximize instructional time.
- The course handbook and syllabus sign off are posted here on our website under the forms tab. It is required that all parents/guardians sign off using the online form.
- 7th grade students and new 8th graders will receive their uniform informational handout on Friday, August 3rd detailing sizes and deadlines. 8th graders may also purchase any replacement garments or a full uniform if they are new to Daniell.
- All Daniell Performing Arts students use the same uniform for concerts and only need to purchase ONE uniform regardless of membership in chorus and orchestra or just orchestra. The band uniform is also the same this year. Please fill out the online order form as soon as possible.
- Payment via My Payment Plus is preferred, but cash/check are also accepted. Payments are due on August 22nd.
- Chamber Orchestra sign up and schedule is posted under the Auditions tab. Please fill out the online form if you plan to audition.
- Allstate Orchestra sign ups are posted under the audition tab. $25 fee is due via My Payments Plus or cash/check by September 11th in order to register for the audition, no exceptions.
- Please register for Remind so that you are receiving all updates from Mrs. Newton throughout the week.
6th Graders – Welcome to our orchestra program!!!
- All students will receive their instrument information on Friday, August 4th during connections. Please review the materials within the manila envelope carefully and email Mrs. Newton with any questions.
- We hope to have students in their scheduled connections classes by Wednesday, August 8th.
- 6th graders must also fill out a syllabus sign off form and polo order form under the forms tab.
